Dr. Richard J. Egerman, DPM
A native of Yonkers, New York, Dr. Richard Egerman embarked on his medical journey at The University of Maryland, earning a B.S. degree before advancing to the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where he obtained his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine in 1985. Upon graduation, Dr. Egerman began his podiatric practice, eventually moving to Florida in 1998 to establish his own clinic in Delray Beach.
Dr. Egerman holds board certifications with the American Council of Certified Podiatric Physicians and Surgeons and the American Academy of Wound Management. He is also a distinguished Fellow of The College of Certified Wound Specialists. These credentials underline his expertise and dedication to podiatric medicine.
As an active member of the podiatric community, Dr. Egerman is affiliated with several professional associations, including the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Florida Podiatric Medical Association, the Palm Beach County Podiatric Society, and the American Association of Diabetes. His comprehensive practice in Delray Beach welcomes patients facing a variety of lower extremity issues.
Dr. Egerman is also affiliated with notable medical facilities in the region, including Delray Medical Center, where he extends his podiatric services. His commitment to his patients and the field of podiatry is evident in his extensive involvement and continuous contribution to the community's foot and ankle health.
Dr. Aly Slater, DPM
Dr. Slater is a Palm Beach County native and was raised in Boca Raton. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Florida State University followed by her doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at Barry University. While obtaining her DPM degree, she received award recognition for clinical excellence. After graduation, Dr. Slater matched into an intensive foot and ankle surgical residency at Palmetto General Hospital in Miami, FL where she served as chief resident in her third year. She continues her academic pursuits as a member of the teaching faculty at Bethesda Medical Center’s Foot & Ankle Surgery residency program. She has been extensively trained in traumatic, reconstructive, and elective surgery of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Slater is an active member of the Palm Beach County community. She currently serves as an executive board member to both the Palm Beach County Podiatric Medical Association and Boca Ballet Theatre. She is passionate about service to her patients, profession and the arts. She enjoys all aspects of the Podiatry with a special interest in Dance Medicine, pediatrics, wound care, surgery and management of the diabetic foot. Dr. Slater is an expert in both conservative and surgical treatment of foot and ankle pathologies. She enjoys working with patients to tailor treatment regimens that fit their individual needs. In her free time Dr. Slater enjoys exercising, attending the ballet, and spending time with her husband and young daughter.
